Cupping Physical Therapy for
Ashtabula, Geneva, Conneaut, Mentor, Madison, & Painesville, OH

Cupping can benefit your body by facilitating the release of toxins that cause disease in the body. You will experience a bruise afterwards, but this is due to dead blood coming to the surface, rather than tissue damage. The more you cup an area, the lighter and healthier it will become, and where there is just redness, increased blood flow is facilitating healing to the area.

Cupping physical therapy is based on the ancient Chinese practice, producing incredible results that have thoroughly impressed those who have experienced the subtle power of cupping.

Andrew Brown - DPT, MSPT, CIDN can provide you more information about this physical therapy treatment and will work closely with you to determine if cupping is right for you. Call to schedule an appointment. We proudly serve Ashtabula, OH; Geneva, OH; Conneaut, OH; Mentor, OH; Madison, OH; and Painesville, OH.

How Does Cupping Physical Therapy Work?

Cupping therapy softens tight muscles, tones attachments, loosens adhesions, and lifts connective tissue through the creation of suction and negative pressure. This process brings hydration and blood flow to body tissues, draining excess fluid and toxins through the opened lymphatic pathways. The versatility allows modification that accomplishes lymphatic drainage, deep tissue release, and other complements to spa treatments, medical massage, and physical therapy.

Cupping will produce healing through nervous system sedation while making your body feel invigorated.

Cupping increases circulation while draining lymphatic pathways, stimulating the skin for a smoother appearance and healthier glow.

By loosening adhesions and facilitating muscle operation, cupping works deeper to eliminate debris from tissues, organs, and systems in a healthy way.
